The Clark Experience

Didn’t I just update this site?  Where does the time go?  The summer flew by and now school is in full swing.  Please understand, I am NOT complaining.  I just truly meant to be better about sharing pictures and funny stories with you all.  Oops!

Greetings! from Lynnwood, WA where Fall is fast approaching.  She didn’t ask my permission, but I can feel her sneaking up on us.  The mornings have been chilly with just a hint of frost.  And the colors of the leaves are spectacular!

Sara is busy with schoolwork, piano, viola and horseback riding.  She is taking three advanced placement classes (English, Science and Social Studies) plus Sci-Ma-Tech (we called it shop).  Yes, she still reads voraciously and has several books she could recommend.

Caleb enjoys Kindergarten.  He has made many friends and has the daily schedule memorized.  He especially likes Tuesday because of Gym and Wednesday is music class, but Thursday might be his favorite since that is the day they go to the library and look at books.  They have been painting and working on math skills.  He is known as “The Cool Kid” since he wears a baseball cap and sunglasses every day to keep the sun off of him.

Amy Lee and I have been baking.  We whipped up a chocolate cake the other day and I let her frost it and apply (dump) the sprinkles.  I can honestly say it was the best cake I ever tasted.  We have tea parties and play soccer outside (just the two of us).  We take little walks around the cul-de-sac and run errands during the day while Sara and Caleb are at school.  She talks non-stop and is full of so many questions.

I hope you enjoy the latest installment of The Clark Experience.  If there are any pictures that you want, just drag the jpg from the web site onto your desktop and print it out.

That is all for now - take care!
